TMS has an excellent safety profile compared to medications and other brain stimulation therapies. Understanding potential side effects helps you prepare for treatment.

Common Effects: - Scalp discomfort or tapping sensation (most patients) - Mild headache (10-20% of patients, usually temporary) - Hearing click sounds (earplugs provided)

Rare Events: - Seizure risk: <0.1% (extremely rare) - Mania induction in bipolar: <1%
