Asakayama Hospital - rTMS Treatment Center

Asakayama Hospital is a comprehensive hospital in Sakai, Osaka with 100 years of psychiatric care history. The hospital introduced insurance-covered rTMS treatment in January 2020, shortly after national insurance approval. As of March 2025, the hospital has treated 48 patients with a remarkable 52% remission rate. The rTMS team consists of multiple physicians, nurses, and clinical psychologists. Asakayama Hospital is a founding member of the Kansai TMS Network alongside Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Kansai Medical University, Hannan Hospital, and Wakayama Medical University.
