About the Clinic
Research Institute Brainclinics was founded in 2001 as an independent research institute in Nijmegen, specializing in advancing our understanding of the brain through applied neuroscience. Brainclinics was the first in Europe to treat depression with TMS in an outpatient setting. Their expertise extends to the development and application of brain stimulation techniques including rTMS for depression and OCD, TMS-induced Heart-Brain Coupling, and EEG-based precision psychiatry. The institute also organizes the annual TMS Masterclass and Certification Course, accredited by the Dutch-Flemish Brain Stimulation Foundation.
