BrainsWay announced on October 13, 2026 that the number of covered lives under policies favorable to its SWIFT accelerated Deep TMS protocol has risen above 70 million in the United States. In June the company had reported a figure above 57 million, so the total has grown by double-digit millions in about four months.
SWIFT is the accelerated version of BrainsWay's Deep TMS therapy, which compresses a treatment course into far fewer calendar days than the standard once-daily schedule. The company also noted continued policy support for Deep TMS generally, including for major depressive disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The announcement did not identify which insurers issued the new policies, so clinics should confirm coverage for each patient's specific plan. Even so, the trend points toward accelerated protocols becoming a covered option rather than a self-pay one for a growing share of insured patients.
