On July 20, BrainsWay announced a $3 million minority equity investment in Radial Health, part of Radial's Series A round. Radial is a management services organization that supports a national network of Brain Medicine clinics and is building reimbursement tools and an AI-guided decision-support platform for noninvasive treatments such as Deep TMS.
Four days earlier, on July 16, BrainsWay announced a $500,000 minority investment, structured as a preferred security, in Sound Minds Behavioral, an outpatient provider with locations in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York that offers interventional psychiatry services.
BrainsWay described the moves as part of a strategy to secure minority positions in high-performing mental health provider networks. The practical effect for patients is not yet clear, but the investments tie a device maker more closely to the clinic networks that deliver treatment.
